# Chicken Salad
In medium bowl:
1. 1 Large canned chunk chicken, drained
2. 1/4 to 3/4 cup mayo (start with 1/4 cup work your way up to taste)
3. Mash very well with fork (no chunks).
4. 2 tsp fresh ground pepper
5. 1 tsp basil, garlic, onion, thyme, oregano, parsley
6. 1 cap apple cider vinegar.
7. Mix it up some more
8. Recipe calls for 1 tsp cane sugar but you can skip sugar entirely.
Substitute chicken with [hard boiled eggs](hard-boiled-eggs.md) for egg salad.
