# Baked Potatoes 1. Wash large Russet potatoes. 2. Stab each potato 6 times: 3 on top, rotate 90 degrees, then 3 more perpendicular. 3. Microwave for 6 minutes in 1100 W microwave oven, 10 minutes in 700 W oven. 4. While microwaving, remember you forgot to turn the oven on to 400 F so do that now. 5. After microwaving, move potatoes directly from the microwave to the oven. 6. Bake directly on oven rack at 400 F for 1 hour. 7. Allow to cool, spread butter, garlic, pepper, salt, parsley to taste. 8. Gently press spices in with knife or fork.
