The tutorial showing how to provision an instance references Digital Ocean.
On DO, when taking snapshots of an OpenBSD droplet, I found when reverting to a snapshot, no matter what I did the instance would not come back up after restore.
The tutorial should be remade for a different host provider that doesn't have this problem.
