it’s always a beautiful feeling when the clouds combine
and spill into each other
there’s always something pulling
something giving
and that silent understanding
that these moments are only theirs
and the wind floats by
on silver wings
and brushes through
reminding them that time is flying by
even though time is a human creation
and therefore doesn’t exist

when it’s time for the clouds to leave
they leave slowly
as if trying to escape their fate
