vim's beef recipe
prep time: ~30 mins
meat prep
- place your beef in a flat surface, and beat the shit out
of it with one of those stainless steel hammers, to tenderize it
- cut your beef into tiny pieces, about 3-4cm in diameter each
- now, to further tenderize your beef, add a bit of baking soda to
it, and let it rest for like 5-10mins
- after that, add a bit of salt to your liking and mix it up
- grind a bit of 5-mixture pepper (rose pepper, etc) into the
mixture, and mix it up
- add a bit of white wine to it, and mix it up
- cut some fresh parsley into tiny bits, and add it to the mixture
- let it rest
sauce prep
- dice some onion
- cut some garlic into tiny pieces, as thin as you are able to
- start warming up a pan, and add whatever grease you prefer
(I used vegetable oil)
- after it's warmed up a bit, add your onion and garlic
- add a bit of salt (just a bit!) to let the garlic juices out
- baby sit it for a bit, and let that shizz get to a golden color
- cut a ripe tomato into decently sized chunks
- cut a green bell pepper into tini tiny chunks (0.5 cm or so)
- open up a can of mushrooms and rinse them a bit in water.
alternatively, dice some fresh mushrooms, if you have them at hand.
- add the tiniest bit more salt to the pan, along with the tomato,
mushrooms and bell pepper chunks
- mix it up for 2-3 minutes
- time to season byotch. add a bit of paprika, rosemary and curry powder
to the pan
- mix it up for 2-3 minutes
final steps
- add the beef which has been resting elsewhere to the pan
- mix everything together for 2-3 minutes, and then cover the pan
- let that shit cook for like 5-10 min, depends on how rare you
like your beef.
- voila
