I don’t mean your presence in the sky<br />

there is no happiness here within these brick walls<br />

||
only hasty curses and strife</p>

||
|
||
<p>bring back the hazy days<br />
|
||
encased in amber and entrenched in summer<br />
|
||
where little girls danced without worries under a sky of forever blue<br />
|
||
and went to sleep at night with a blanket of stars</p>
|
||
|
||
<p>but for every idealized moment of carefree bliss<br />

||
there is one of worrying and looming failure<br />
|
||
