what are we  
but thoughts in sea  
each adding a drop  
to this common receptacle  
this digital knowledge pill  
to make us all more than we were before

i send out my drop  
and hope it wont flop  
it needs to do better  
then the rest of the crop
and i hope it takes off like the rest

and now its all dark  
the lights are all fuarked  
and im here on my own  
but not really alone  
my hands grip my keys  
the proof that im me  
and with a flurry of phalange  
i send out my plea

the parts are all here  
so i have nothing to fear  
it shouldn't turn to shit  
but im missing one bit!  
alas, not for long  
by the end of this song  
a reply from the sky

and with minimum stuff  
the network is tough  
and that single bit was enough  
to let me know the others are out there

just like me  
they wish to see  
the ones that make them inspired
