1. 2 tomatoes (I had some that were just about to go bad) |
|
|
|
|
|
2. dry rosemary |
|
|
|
|
|
3. dry oregano |
|
|
|
|
|
4. ground black pepper |
|
|
|
|
|
5. salt |
|
|
|
|
|
6. sugar |
|
|
|
|
|
7. apple cider vinegar |
|
|
|
|
|
8. water |
|
|
|
|
|
9. olive oil |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

## preparation |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1. cut your tomatoes in chunks and add them to a blender. |
|
|
|
|
|
2. cover the tomatoes in just enough water such that they |
|
|
|
|
|
are submerged. |
|
|
|
|
|
3. add one dessert spoon's worth of sugar, and 1/2 a dessert |
|
|
|
|
|
spoon's worth of salt to the blender. |
|
|
|
|
|
4. blend the tomatoes until they are completely liquified. |
|
|
|
|
|
5. turn on your stove, and pour the blended tomatoes into a pan. |
|
|
|
|
|
6. add about 2 & 1/2 tea spoons of olive oil to the pan. |
|
|
|
|
|
7. bring the mixture to a boil, and season it with rosemary, |
|
|
|
|
|
black pepper and oregano to your taste. |
|
|
|
|
|
8. stir it around until most of the water has evaporated, |
|
|
|
|
|
then add a bit of apple cider vinegar to the pan. |
|
|
|
|
|
9. stir the sauce to marry all the flavors, and |
|
|
|
|
|
voila. |
